I know I might come across as "I don't care" when I say that you should just go celebrate your birthday with your friends overseas.

But I have my reasons.

1. You'll have more fun celebrating it with them than me.

2. I'm a boring person so I know that no matter what, my planned celebration for you won't be as exciting as I would wish it to be.

3. I feel that a mini vacation with your friends would do you good; it's a way for you to live life just for a while.

4. I feel that you'd be happier celebrating it with your friends.

I'm such a bad partner aren't I.
